To increase bone density... After I’d finished today’s class, I went to have a bone density scan which is advisable, for women particularly, after a certain age....What I have to tell you - and I'm thrilled! - is that my own readings had leapt up phenomenally in the past year. The only thing that has changed is that I’ve been coming pretty regularly to NIA classes!
Healing arthritic pain... Dealing with healing my body every day is my journey. Genetically predisposed, I am suffering from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. I have learned to listen and choose pleasure, even though pain is present. On the dance floor, my pain melts away, and nobody can tell.
